Product Overview

This 25W 18V solar panel kit combines a flexible PVC-laminated polycrystalline panel with two connection leads: alligator clips and a vehicle accessory plug. Its 420 x 370mm body has reinforced corner holes for securing it to a suitable support.

The panel is intended for matched 12V battery applications such as car, camper or boat projects, with appropriate charging control selected for the battery system.

Compatibility & Notes

The panel's 18V working voltage is different from a battery's nominal 12V rating. Check battery chemistry, charging requirements, polarity and the need for a charge controller before use. Do not assume the connection leads provide charge regulation, overcharge protection or reverse-current protection.

Use a vehicle accessory socket only if the vehicle manufacturer permits battery charging through it and the circuit is suitable. Some sockets disconnect with the ignition off. Follow the vehicle and battery instructions, keep exposed clips from touching and protect connections from moisture.
