Solar Street Lights and Parking Lot Lights: Project Quotes

Solar street lights and parking lot lights are quoted to your project from the details below: site, mounting height, spacing, light level and hours of operation. Tell us what the site needs, and we confirm in writing whether we can supply that configuration, and at what price, before you commit.

LinkSolar is a China-based B2B supplier of custom & OEM solar panels, solar cells and mounting hardware. Finished solar lights are a separate quote-to-order line, built by our partner factories. They are not stocked or listed in our store.

What should you send for a quote?

A light that suits one site can fall short on another. These details decide the configuration and the price.

Detail What to send Why it matters
Site type Street, parking lot, path, yard or perimeter Sets the light pattern and how much light you need on the ground
Mounting height and spacing Pole height and distance between poles Together with the light level, they set the lamp power
Light level The target on the ground, or the standard your project must meet A specification in writing avoids comparing quotes by watts alone
Operating profile Dusk to dawn, or dimmed after a set hour Dimming can cut the daily energy, and so the panel and battery size
Location City or coordinates, plus any shade on the pole Winter sun decides the panel size
Layout All-in-one head, or a separate panel and battery Changes the wind load, the pole and the servicing
Poles Existing or new, with the pole diameter Decides the bracket and whether poles belong in the quote
Quantity and destination Number of lights and delivery country Affects price and freight

How is a solar street light sized?

Start from the energy used per night, then size for the worst month rather than the yearly average.

  1. Energy per night: average lamp watts × hours on the longest night.
  2. Panel watts: energy per night ÷ worst-month peak sun hours ÷ 0.86. The divisor allows for 14% system losses, the default in the NLR PVWatts manual.
  3. Battery: energy per night × nights without sun you want to cover, then allow for the usable share of the battery.

Worked example, for illustration only: a lamp averaging 40 W for 12 hours uses 480 Wh per night. At 3 peak sun hours, 480 ÷ 3 ÷ 0.86 is about 186 W of panel. This is not a product specification. Your site and the real lamp data change the answer.

The solar panel for street light guide covers the panel side in more depth.

Already have the lights?

If you only need the power side, we can quote custom solar panels and mounting hardware for lights you already make or buy. Custom orders are quoted on your drawing.

Common questions

Do you keep solar street lights in stock?

No. Each order is quoted and built to the confirmed specification. Every order is checked against that specification before it ships, and goods ship from China.

Which certifications do the lights have?

That depends on the model and factory, so we do not list any here. Tell us what your project requires and ask for the documents with the quote.

Do you install them?

This line covers supply and export. Installation, foundations and permits stay with you or your contractor.
