Choose the port to match the input requirements of your device rather than relying on the connector shape alone. Before connecting a DC device, check its accepted voltage range, polarity and plug dimensions. A USB-C socket does not by itself guarantee compatibility with every USB-C laptop or a particular fast-charging protocol.

Place the unfolded panel in direct sunlight and reduce shading across all four sections. Actual output depends on sunlight, panel angle, temperature and the connected charging equipment; 40W is a peak rating, not a constant charging rate. Keep electrical connections dry and handle the panel without sharply bending individual sections.
