Overview

This 8W solar panel combines a 200 x 200 mm panel, a rear enclosure and a built-in charge controller for small solar-powered projects. The enclosure has four 18650 battery slots, but batteries are not included. Choose the 3.7V or 5V output variant to match your project; this is a power-supply component, not a complete LoRa communication device.

Choose Your Output

The 3.7V version provides a 3.7-4.2V output range. The 5V version provides a 5V output. Select the version to suit your device's accepted input voltage and check its connector and power requirements before ordering. Do not assume a device is compatible solely because it has a USB connection or uses a particular microcontroller.

Confirm the required 18650 cell type and fit before installing batteries. Follow the polarity markings and the equipment instructions; do not substitute an unverified cell or connect a load outside its input rating. Battery capacity and operating time depend on the cells you supply and the connected device's power use.

Locate the panel where shading is limited and secure the assembly before use. Solar output varies with sunlight, angle, temperature and system load, so the 8W rating does not guarantee continuous operation through poor weather or overnight. Batteries and the LoRa module must be obtained separately.
