How is a solar pump sized?
Start with the energy needed to lift the water, then size the panel for the month you need the most water.
- Lifting energy: cubic metres per day × total lift in metres × 2.725 = Wh per day. This is the physics alone, before losses.
- Pump energy: divide by the pump and controller efficiency from the pump's data sheet.
- Panel watts: pump energy ÷ peak sun hours in your hardest month ÷ 0.86. The divisor allows for 14% system losses, the default in the NLR PVWatts manual.
Worked example, for illustration only: 5 m³ per day (about 1,320 US gallons) lifted 30 m (about 98 ft) needs about 409 Wh per day of lifting energy, before pump losses. This is not a product specification. Real pump data and your site change the answer.

Do you keep well pumps in stock?
No. Each order is quoted and built to the confirmed specification. Every order is checked against that specification before it ships, and goods ship from China.
Which certifications do the pumps have?
That depends on the model and factory, so we do not list any here. Tell us what your project requires and ask for the documents with the quote.
Do you install them?
This line covers supply and export. Drilling, installation and water permits stay with you or your contractor.
