Product Overview

This solar car battery charger uses an 8.5W semi-flexible panel to support compatible 12V battery-maintenance applications. The panel operates at 18V, with current up to 470mA, and comes with both an alligator-clamp lead and a vehicle accessory-socket lead.

The 410 × 197mm polycrystalline panel has a white backing and corner eyelets for placement. Its modest power is intended for maintenance and supplemental charging, rather than jump-starting a vehicle or rapidly restoring a discharged battery.

Compatibility & Notes

Confirm battery chemistry, charging requirements and the vehicle's accessory-socket behavior before use. Some sockets disconnect when the ignition is off. Use suitable charge regulation where required by the battery and installation; the panel's reverse-current protection is not a substitute for a complete charging controller.

Check polarity and use an appropriate protected connection. Output varies with sunlight, orientation, temperature and battery condition. The indicator brightness can vary with light conditions and does not by itself measure charging performance.
