LinkSolar is a B2B sourcing partner with direct factory-side QA and production access, specialized in power line monitoring and custom industrial solar. We build mini solar panels to your application — custom shapes, voltages, and connectors — rather than selling fixed SKUs. Every spec below is a customizable range; final parameters are confirmed per project before production.

01 Customization Range
We don't sell off-the-shelf wattages. These are the parameter envelopes our partner factories can build within — pick what your device needs, confirm with us, we sample.

Most-requested / notes
Power
0.11 W → standard module
Real range 0.11 W (35×22 ETFE) – 25 W (MPPT) in stock; larger custom on request
Voltage (Vmp)
3 V – 48 V custom
5 V / 6 V most common for IoT direct-drive (no DC-DC, saves conversion loss)
Multi-voltage switch
5V / 6V / 9V / 12V
4 W & 8 W panels support switchable output — one panel fits most trail / security cameras

Why a range, not a SKU: industrial IoT, PLM sensors, and OEM devices each have different enclosure, voltage, and lifetime constraints. A fixed catalog forces you to compromise; a custom build matches the panel to the device. The trade-off is a short confirmation + sampling cycle (below) before production.
02 Encapsulation Comparison (choose by outdoor lifetime)
Type
UV / outdoor durability
Weight
Cost
Best for
ETFE
Best UV resistance, longest outdoor life
Light
Highest
Long-deployment PLM / remote sensors
PET
Lowest cost; tends to yellow after ~2–3 yrs outdoors
Light
Lowest
Indoor / short-life / cost-sensitive
Glass
Most durable long-term
Heavy
Mid
Fixed installs where weight is OK
Sourcing note For unattended outdoor IoT/PLM deployments we usually recommend ETFE despite the cost — PET yellowing reduces output over a 2–3 year horizon, which matters more than the upfront saving when the device is on a transmission line or remote site.

04 Engineering Notes (from sourcing & field experience)
Charging IC A common failure on small panels: pairing a raw panel with a TP4056 module. The panel's output voltage is unstable under varying light, and the TP4056's default ~1 A charge current can exceed a small panel's supply, pushing the board into repeated under-voltage protection. For solar input, adjust the charge current or use a solar-aware charger IC (e.g. bq24074 class). Specify your charge IC when you send the requirement so we match panel current to it.
Cold-climate sizing Northern winters (2–3 h sun + snow on the panel face) routinely starve devices sized for average conditions. For PLM / trail-camera deployments above mid-latitudes, oversize the panel and confirm the worst-month insolation — we size to worst case, not annual average.
Multi-voltage advantage A 4 W or 8 W switchable panel (5/6/9/12 V) covers most trail and security cameras with one part number, removing voltage-mismatch returns. Useful when you serve several device models from one inventory line.
05 Custom Workflow — specs confirmed before production
01
Spec intake
You send device, voltage, size, output, lifetime
02
Confirm params
We confirm buildable spec + quote (this gate is mandatory before any production)
03
Sample
7–14 day samples to your spec
04
Approve
You validate on your device
05
Production
2–4 weeks, factory-side QA
06
Ship
Global B2B export
Confirmation gate: because every panel is built to spec, nothing goes to production until parameters are confirmed in writing. This protects both sides — you get a panel matched to your device, not a catalog approximation.
