The 8W mini solar panel is a compact off-grid power solution with selectable 5V/6V/9V/12V DC output and support for up to 6×18650 batteries. It is designed for small electronics, DIY power setups, sensors, and other low-voltage outdoor applications.

Built around a high-efficiency monocrystalline module and an internal 18650 battery bay, this 8W panel supports multiple output voltages, clear LED status indicators, and simple mounting. It is a practical choice for compact outdoor systems that need flexible voltage options and easy installation.

Note: 18650 batteries are not included. Use cells with similar capacity and internal resistance as recommended.

How to Use

  • Install 1–6 compatible 18650 batteries in the internal battery bay, following the correct polarity and using cells with similar capacity.
  • Mount the 8W solar panel with the fixed bracket and angle it toward the sun to improve solar generation.
  • Connect your 5V–12V device to the 5.5 × 2.1 mm DC output and select a suitable voltage (5V/6V/9V/12V) on your system if needed.
  • Allow the panel to charge the battery pack in strong sunlight; a typical pack reaches full charge in about 8–12 hours.
  • When sunlight is limited, charge the battery pack with a suitable 5V adapter through the Micro USB input within the specified voltage range.

Care & Maintenance

  • Keep the solar surface clean and free from dust, leaves or shading to maintain efficiency.
  • Use only quality 18650 cells and avoid mixing old and new batteries in the same pack.
  • Try to match batteries with similar capacity and internal resistance for balanced charging and discharging.
  • Check that seals and covers are properly closed for outdoor installations.
  • If you will not use the system for an extended period, disconnect loads and store it in a dry place.
